Briggs & Stratton Genuine Part. 4.5 Starter rope is typically used on 3.5-5 HP engines.
790970 Starter Rope is sold by the foot. This is a Briggs & Stratton genuine part, but may be used in all other engine brands that require size 4.5 starter rope for recoil starters.
Standard sizes are 5-7 feet for a normal recoil starter for a lawn mower, pressure washer etc. If you want to buy starter rope for a lawn mower, purchase 7 = 7 feet
Please note that smaller hand held equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers and blowers will take a different size starter rope.
